Ensuring the health and safety of every employee should be the number one priority of any organization, whether it be a small business, nonprofit, or large enterprise. It is the responsibility of every person to maximize their efforts in reducing the spread and combating COVID-19. Many organizations are bringing employees back into the workplace as a result, new health and safety measures must be implemented to ensure a healthy workforce. This training is very significant since everyone is at risk of being exposed and transmitting this deadly virus. The participants will learn strategies to maintain a healthy and safe working environment by implementing prevention and protective measures and best practices. Course Objectives: 1. Apply regulatory guidance and federal recommendations to their current employment health and safety protocols. 2. Describe various prevention and protection measures to mitigate COVID-19. 3. Change or modify their current health and safety behaviors to increase a safer workplace. Course Outcomes: 1. Use knowledge of OSHA regulations and CDC guidance to improve current workplace practices. 2. Increase knowledge on the importance of decreasing COVID-19 workplace spread through self-care and personal wellness. 3. Create a better understanding of current vaccine options, availability, and side effects.
